(Reuters) - Microsoft Corp reported a slight drop in fiscal third-quarter profit as weak computer sales weighed down demand for its flagship Windows operating system.
The world's largest software maker reported quarterly profit of $5.11 billion, or 60 cents per share, compared with $5.23 billion, or 61 cents per share, in the year-ago quarter.
Sales rose 6 percent to $17.41 billion.
