Various institutions have warned Artur Mas incessantly. A sort of presage to collapse. Yesterday, the Constitutional Court denied Catalonia's plea for independence.
Spain's highest court ruled that the Parliament of Catalonia's declaration is "unconstitutional and void," because it violates two articles of the Spanish Constitution and other Catalonian laws.
That said, the Court did admit that Catalonia has a "right to decide" and opened the door to holding some sort of general hearing within confines of the law. The Court's ruling is one final call for Artur Mas to wise up and realize that his political projects need to shift course if he wants to abide by Spanish law.
