Infanta Cristina accusation suspended temporarily

The Audiencia de Palma suspended its investigation of Princess Cristina de Borbón yesterday. It plans to wait until the Finance Ministry issues a new report that determines whether or not it is possible to charge her with tax fraud and money laundering.

The decision to drop or keep the charges is up in the air, and the Finance Ministry's report will finalize it. According to the Ministry's report, Princess Cristina could go free or face criminal charges.

The King's middle child should have to face the same kind of trial that any other Spaniard would. If she broke the law, she should pay the price. For the case to turn out well, that is to say with a solution that is just, there can be no doubt that the Royal Family has interfered.
