One week ago Patxi López held elections in the Basque country, and yesterday Galician congressman Alberto Núñez Fejóo approved dissolving Galicia?s congress. Both events pushed up elections by six months and were caused by pressures from Spain?s ailing economy.
López mentioned a lack of congressional support in pushing necessary reforms as a main reason.
