In the morning, the President and the Vice President will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing in the Oval Office.

In the afternoon, the President and Vice President will have lunch at the White House with the Democratic and Republican leaders in both houses of Congress to discuss ongoing efforts to find common ground on legislative priorities that will create jobs and strengthen America?s economy.

In the evening, the President and First Lady will host a dinner at the White House to honor our Armed Forces who served in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation New Dawn and to honor their families. This dinner?an expression of the nation's gratitude for the achievements and enormous sacrifices of the brave Americans who served in the Iraq War and of the families who supported them?will include men and women in uniform from all ranks, services, states and backgrounds, representative of the many thousands of Americans who served in Iraq. The Vice President and Dr. Biden will also attend.

Real Gross Domestic Product (Second Estimate, Q4)

Real GDP growth for the fourth quarter will likely be revised down fractionally. The mix of growth should become more favorable, though, with less coming from inventories and more coming from final sales. In particular, business fixed investment spending should be revised up. First-quarter GDP growth continues to track at just above 2%.
