@ Wall Street

On Tuesday, some of the largest and most-owned equities in the United States will report earnings, including Bank of America, Goldman Sachs, Coca Cola and Apple. Apple may be the most anticipated report, as it often is. The technology giant recently began selling its newest iPhone, the 4S, selling over one million units on its first day and four million over its first weekend, but these 4S sales are not included in last quarter's earnings.

Last quarter, Apple reported strong earnings, with the one soft spot being Mac sales. Many speculated that this weakness may have been caused by Apple's Mac product cycle, since many would-be buyers might have been waiting for new Mac Mini and/or Air models, which the company released three months ago.
