Later in the morning, the President will meet with senior advisors in the Oval Office. In the afternoon, the President and the Vice President will meet for lunch in the Private Dining Room.

The ISM-nonmanufacturing index should slip closer to neutrality, like its manufacturing counterpart. The economy does not appear to have fallen into retreat, but it shows almost no positive momentum and weak readings for nonmanufacturing orders and business activity will reflect that malaise.
