NEW YORK (Reuters) - U.S. stocks added to losses on Tuesday after data showed existing home sales retreated in October.
The Dow Jones industrial average <.DJI> was down 135.32 points, or 1.21 percent, at 11,043.26. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index <.SPX> was down 16.03 points, or 1.34 percent, at 1,181.81. The Nasdaq Composite Index <.IXIC> was down 32.16 points, or 1.27 percent, at 2,499.86.
