Wall Street jumps after ISM and construction data

NEW YORK (Reuters) - U.S. stocks extended gains to rise more than 1 percent on Monday after data showed manufacturing expanded at a faster pace than forecast in October while construction spending rose unexpectedly in September.

The Dow Jones industrial average <.DJI> gained 115.11 points, or 1.04 percent, to 11,233.60. The Standard & Poor's 500 <.SPX> rose 11.31 points, or 0.96 percent, to 1,194.57. The Nasdaq Composite <.IXIC> added 22.52 points, or 0.90 percent, to 2,529.93.

Stocks earlier opened higher as strong Chinese factory data prompted investors to head for more risky assets.
