NEW YORK (Reuters) - Wall Street opened higher after a bullish forecast from Intel and solid earnings from JPMorgan Chase along with expectations the Federal Reserve will move to prop up the economic recovery.
The Dow Jones industrial average <.DJI> jumped 45.87 points, or 0.42 percent, at 11,066.27. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index <.SPX> was up 5.10 points, or 0.44 percent, at 1,174.87. The Nasdaq Composite Index <.IXIC> rose 11.43 points, or 0.47 percent, at 2,429.35.
