BAGHDAD (Reuters) - At least 20 people were killed in an attack by gunmen on the provincial council headquarters in former Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein's home city of Tikrit, a health official said.
Jasim al-Dulaimi, head of the health operation centre in Salahuddin, said at least 65 were wounded.
Gunmen used car bombs, explosive belts and hand grenades in the attack as they stormed into the building and held people hostage, officials said earlier.
