Iberian Lawyer - celebró ayer la gala de entrega de los premios Forty under 40 que otorga 40 premios entre los mejores abogados y equipos legales de menos de 40 años que han destacado por su trabajo en los mercados de España y Portugal. En la ceremonia de entrega, se reunieron más de 400 personalidades del sector legal para distinguir a los jóvenes abogados más prometedores en sus respectivas categorías en el Espacio Harley de Madrid.
Los Forty under 40 son los galardones más reconocidos del sector legal en España y Portugal con los que la revista jurídica quiere reconocer la excelencia de la abogacía española y portuguesa más joven. Los premios afrontan este año una nueva etapa, con importantes novedades, como parte del lanzamiento de la nueva revista tras la adquisición por parte de LC Publishing Group - la empresa editorial internacional propietaria de publicaciones que adquirió el 60% de Iberian Legal Group, lo que supuso la creación del mayor grupo editorial legal especializado en el Sur de Europa y Latinoamérica.
De esta forma, este 2019 los premios Forty under 40 han sido otorgados por primera vez divididos en dos categorías: reconocimiento individual y reconocimiento en equipo. Por un lado, se distinguen a los mejores abogados menores de 40 años de veinte áreas de práctica y, por otro, se reconocen también dentro de estas mismas áreas, a los mejores equipos, que cumplen con la condición de que al menos un 60% de los integrantes sean menores de 40 años.
Aldo Scaringella, Managing Director de Iberian Legal Group y fundador de LC Publishing Group, aseguró que "queremos que los Forty under 40 sigan siendo una cita imprescindible en el calendario de los abogados de España y Portugal y, con este objetivo, seguiremos apostando por consolidar el posicionamiento de estos premios como el máximo reconocimiento para los jóvenes dentro del sector jurídico en la Península Ibérica. Estos jóvenes son los que liderarán la abogacía en el futuro y merecen ser reconocidos por su trabajo y dedicación en sus respectivas prácticas".
