The redesigned Cummins B3.3 generator set is now available in the 44-66kVA range. It is a fully integrated power generation system, providing optimum performance, reliability and versatility for stationary standby and prime power duty applications. The Cummins redesigned engine now has improved power density and 500 hours service interval.
In addition, the B3.3 series offers the following features:
- Our medium duty engine – a rugged 4-cycle industrial diesel, which delivers reliable power and fast response to load changes.
- An alternator with low reactance 2/3 pitch windings; low waveform distortion with nonlinear loads, fault clearing short-circuits capability, and class H insulation.
- A standard integral set mounted cooling system designed and tested for rated ambient temperatures, which simplifies facility design requirements for rejected heat.
- The PowerStart® electronic control system, which comes as standard equipment for 50 Hz products while PowerCommand® is for 60 Hz products. It provides total genset system integration, including auto remote start/stop, precise frequency and voltage regulation, alarm and status message display.
- The option to include sound attenuated enclosures for maximum noise reduction.
- The generator will also be available in an emissioned version.
