Espresso Group Announces Appointment of New Chief Financial Officer

Espresso Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Ben Stringer as new Chief Financial Officer to the organisation.

Mr. Stringer will report to Richard McGrath, Group Managing Director, and will join Espresso´s Board of Directors. Previously he was CFO of Thomson Learning International where he was responsible for educational businesses outside of the US. During his 4–year tenure, revenues of the International portfolio grew in excess of 40% to over $500 million. The Thomson Learning assets were acquired by private equity firm Apax in July 2007 and are now trading under the name of Cengage Learning. Previously, Mr Stringer had held a number of senior finance positions within publishing, education and media including higher education, library reference, distance learning, school publishing and cable TV.
