SailPoint, the leader in identity and access management (IAM), today released SailPoint Access Risk Dashboard on the newly launched ServiceNow Store, empowering organizations to enhance and optimize the way they manage access on the ServiceNow platform. SailPoint’s Access Risk Dashboard enables ServiceNow customers to quickly evaluate the risk exposure of all applications written on the ServiceNow platform to ensure access is granted effectively in a policy-controlled and secure manner.
"As Service Management has evolved, so must the way users are granted roles and access privileges within the system,” said Paul Trulove, vice president of product management at SailPoint. "If not governed correctly, access privileges can be one of the biggest areas of risk exposure in the enterprise. Now, with the SailPoint Access Risk Dashboard, organizations using ServiceNow gain better visibility into how access is granted across their organization so they can proactively address issues. This eliminates the need to perform manual assessments or audits and, instead, delivers relevant information instantly.”
The new Access Risk Dashboard app offers visibility into ServiceNow access controls, and automatically assesses the risk posture of how access is being granted. Whether using native ServiceNow products, in-house/partner developed apps, or third-party apps downloaded from the ServiceNow Store, administrators can:
- Collect information on access rights;
- Utilize context-rich graphs and charts to provide actionable information about the current state of access permissions;
- Identify which roles have been granted access within an application; and
- Determine potential blind spots in granting access to applications.
The Access Risk Dashboard is SailPoint’s first, self-contained application that runs entirely on the ServiceNow platform – meaning users do not have to be SailPoint customers to download and benefit from it. Delivering the Access Risk Dashboard as a standalone app in ServiceNow’s Store is another step in the company’s commitment to delivering identity governance, provisioning and access management capabilities to all ServiceNow customers. The ServiceNow Store is a commercial enterprise application marketplace that allows customers to purchase and download a broad-range of third-party applications and integrations to improve their IT and business operations.
SailPoint is demoing its IAM solutions, including the new Access Risk Dashboard app and SailPoint’s password reset integration with ServiceNow, in booth 724 at this week’s Knowledge15 conference.
