Jupiter-Lenel Integration Module (JLIM)

With the new Jupiter Systems Lenel Integration Module (JLIM), any security professional on the enterprise network can now connect to and control a Jupiter display wall using the existing IP network infrastructure. The integration of Lenel and Jupiter products automates the entire process of managing the security center"”from receiving an alarm to executing a specific event on the wall, creating a powerful, scalable and flexible visualization environment. State-of-the-art communications and integration middleware are employed, creating a seamless work environment for the security operator. This enhanced workflow builds situational awareness, and improved. Security operators can concentrate on managing their station, not on administrating separate platforms.

Jupiter processors employ advanced video processing technology to support the simultaneous display of hundreds of videos on the wall concurrently. Taking advantage of multicast technology, the transmission of video has no latency from encoder to decoder. Once an alarm is received, JLIM will notify the Jupiter wall processor to subscribe to the multicast group and instantly display the relevant video stream. The Jupiter-Lenel Integration Module uniquely addresses the requirements of real-time security professional operations while balancing the complexity of IP & analog cameras and wall alarms. The advantages of JLIM are robust performance and extreme flexibility. JLIM allows security operators to easily manage elaborate video walls and provides versatile management functionality. This includes: automated alarm processing, multicasting, and multi-streaming, simple installation, smooth out-of-box experience, effortless configuration. Jupiter display wall processors can display hundreds of video streams on walls ranging in size from a single display to hundreds of displays, at full resolution with high refresh rates.
