Plane crashes in Congo Republic, dead feared - witnesses

BRAZZAVILLE (Reuters) - An Antonov cargo plane crashed in a suburb of the Congo Republic city of Point-Noire on Monday but the number of casualties was not known, witnesses said.

"Ambulances are shuttling bodies to the mortuary and the wounded to the hospital," one eyewitness told Reuters. "The damage is significant, but for now we do not yet know the precise number of casualties."
