DETROIT (Reuters) - McDonald's Corp reported a higher fourth-quarter profit and sales as demand rose in all regions.
The world's biggest restaurant chain said on Monday that sales at restaurants open at least 13 months rose 4.4 percent in the United States, 3.4 percent in Europe and 5.5 percent in its Asia/Pacific, Middle East and Africa unit. Overall, global same-restaurant sales increased 5 percent.
