WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The White House on Wednesday praised U.S. Senators John Kerry and Joe Lieberman for a climate change and energy bill they are introducing in the Senate and promised to work to pass it into law.
Carol Browner, President Barack Obama's top adviser on energy and climate change issues, told reporters in a conference call that administration officials would review the details of the bill in the coming days. She declined to comment on specific aspects of the proposed legislation.
