BOSTON (Reuters) - General Electric Co expects to report a fourth-quarter profit of 50 cents to 52 cents per share, at the low end of its prior guidance of 50 cents to 65 cents per share, the U.S. conglomerate said on Tuesday.
Wall Street analysts, on average, had looked for profit of about 51 cents per share, according to Reuters Estimates.
The company said it expects to take $1 billion to $1.4 billion in after-tax charges related to restructuring.
Its GE Capital Finance unit is expected to earn about $5 billion next year, down from a targeted $8 billion this year, the company said.
