SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - Cisco Systems Inc posted a better than expected 3.3 percent rise in quarterly revenue as its streamlines its business in the face of less public spending on technology.
The world's largest networking equipment maker reported a fiscal fourth-quarter revenue of $11.2 billion. Analysts on average had expected $10.97 billion, according to Thomson Reuters I/B/E/S.
Shares of Cisco rose 2.4 percent in extended trade after closing down 2.31 percent on Nasdaq.
