NASA delays latest shuttle landing due to weather

CAPE CANAVERAL, Florida (Reuters) - NASA delayed the landing of U.S. space shuttle Atlantis on Sunday, saying bad weather once again prevented its scheduled touchdown in Florida after two previous days of delays.

Atlantis had been due to touch down at the Kennedy Space Centre at 10:09 a.m. EDT (3:09 p.m. British time) to conclude an extended 13-day mission to refurbish the Hubble Space Telescope.

The U.S. space agency will decide whether the shuttle will land at Kennedy later on Sunday or divert to the alternative touchdown site at Edwards Air Force Base in California,
