Stock futures cut losses after economic data

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Stock index futures pared losses on Thursday following a government report that showed retail sales unexpectedly rose in January, tempering worries about the economy.

* Another report showed that jobless claims dropped in the latest week.

* S&P 500 futures fell 6.70 points and were below fair value, a formula that evaluates pricing by taking into account interest rates, dividends and time to expiration on the contract. Dow Jones industrial average futures were down 46 points, and Nasdaq 100 futures lost 4.50 points.
