GDF should investigate Cofely's meteoric rise

Cofely's recent history resembles the story Francisco Granados, a former Peoples Party leader from Madrid who was accused of making unfair appropriations. His meteoric rise in Madrid politics during Esperanza Aguirre's term in office began in 2004 and ended with his fall in 2011.

At the same time, a branch of the Spanish company GDF increased its billing five times while its counterpart in France showed no such signs of growth. Another curious factor is that between 2009 and 2012, the Madrid government, with Miguel Ángel Villanueva as vice-Major, gave Cofely eight cushy jobs and, in 2013, Villanueva took a leadership position at Cofely. At this point, GDF owes some explanations.
