The softdrink titan Coca Cola wants to change its business model. This decision hails straight from the company's corporate headquarters in Atlanta (USA). Global CEO Muhtar Kent wants to expand bottling plants where Coca Cola does the most business in order to make distribution easier.
Kent is pushing these changes in order to boost sales and create stronger, more efficient and more competitive ties in some markets. In Spain, this process will happen as expected. Iberian Partners, the only Coca Cola botteling plant in the nation, will take on tasks like managing Coca Cola's biggest clients. This process will reduce the number of jobs, but strengthen the company.
