Foreign funds lead in Spain

Money is flowing into Spain. The country has finished its chores and investors see this as a favorable sign. This explains why in September alone 121.5 billion euros of stocks were bought, marking the best month of equities purchases since 2007.

But not all that glitters is gold. Investors do want to invest in Spain, but they don't have much appetite for risk. So they are placing bets on Fidelity, an American fund with international clout.

Other hot stocks are the Spanish companies Santander and Bestinver. They are making a profit, but not doing nearly as well as the titan Firmino Morgado.
