Private sector business is up

Economic figures are going against the IMF's lackluster forecasts for Spain. The real story of the nation's economy is playing out slowly day by day.

Financial analysts from across the globe are noticing that the slowdown in spending and jobs in Spain's services and manufacturing industries is the mildest it has been in the past 25 months.

They point out another relevant fact: this July private sector commerce in the euro zone rebounded for the first time since January 2012. And any growth in Europe ought to be welcomed because around 60% of Spanish exports go toward this business area. Europe is the economic driver that we can't afford to do without.
