Isidro Fainé sits on the board of the CEOE (the Spanish Confederation of Entreprenuer Organizations) as a member of the Council on Corporate Competition. This position was interpreted yesterday as an end to difficulties with management organizations, ending an era during which the two groups did not speak.
Fainé made it clear that both groups want to achieve the same goals and that major companies within the Council on Corporate Competition are going in the same direction as management organizations.
Good relations betwen CEOE president Joan Rosell and Fainé have been influential in creating good relationships between both groups. Now they should continue to work together to lower taxes that the CEOE proposed yesterday.
