The Blesa case has put so much pressure on Judge Elpidio José Silva that he has asked for protection from the legal system and is denouncing a campaign of harassment and persecution from the General Council of the Judiciary, other members of the council and various district attorneys.
No matter who says what, so many divergent points of view could alter the course of the investigations and undermine the credibility of the courts when the priority should be uncovering the truth about what happend to Caja Madrid, determing who is responsible for the damage done and making these people pay for their mistakes.
