Greece loses its public television channel

The Greek government has crossed another red line. Greece is the first European nation to close its public television station. The decisión has been criticized by news media stations throughout Europe, which should be viewed within the context of recent taxes levied by the troika.

The closing will slash 2,700 jobs for government workers, whose daily efforts were questionable considering that the viewing rating was only 13.4% according to the latest available figures.

As a reward for closing down the station, the Greeks will stop scrounging for money to run an inefficient program. The government has promised to finance a new station with profitable objectives.
