IAG to change Iberia leadership

Unauthorized by the British headquarters of the International Airline Group (IAG), Rafael Sánchez-Lozano has decided to resign from his position as an advisor at Iberia airlines. 351 million in losses last year, an unfinished restructuring process (it wasn't approved by pilots) and a loss of confidence caused by poor management throughout the crisis are being blamed on Sánchez-Lozano. He will be replaced by Luis Gallego.

Gallego, the latest shining star at Iberia, cut his professional teeth at Clickair, Vueling and Iberia Express. He plans to enact a cost restructuring similar to processes undertaken at Ryanair and EasyJet in hopes of maximizing Iberia's profitability.
