Rarely has a decision been so unanimous in the history of Spanish politics. Practically every member of parliament voted yesterday for the dismissal of Democratic Union of Catalonia's leader, Josep Antoni Duran I Lleida, after confirming that the Christian Democrat party financed his campaign with illegal EU funds that was supposed to go toward creating jobs.
