In the morning, the President and the Vice President will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing in the Oval Office. Later in the morning, the President will travel to the Raleigh-Durham area.
While there, the President will travel to the town of Apex to visit WestStar Precision, a small business that will benefit from the bipartisan proposals in the American Jobs Act that the President unveiled in an address to a Joint Session of Congress last week.
The President will also travel to North Carolina State University where he will deliver remarks on the American Jobs Act, emphasizing the need for Congress to pass it now and put more people back to work and more money in the pockets of working Americans, while not adding a dime to the deficit.
In the afternoon, the President will return to Washington, DC. Later in the afternoon, the President and the Vice President will meet in the Oval Office.
In the evening, the President and the First Lady will attend the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute?s 34th Annual Awards Gala. The President will deliver remarks at this event.
