Op-ed: Greece, the story of Europe´s fall

There is division within the EU. The French are pressing for another summit to hash out the Greek crisis, but Germany is refusing to attend this meeting and is asking the EU to let Greek debt go ahead and default.

It is hair rising that the EU cannot agree on what action to take. If those managing the euro are ineffectual at something as simple as scheduling meetings, how are they going to handle the serious economic situation in Greece? What´s true is that Greece cannot continue sine die and that discussions of a credit default or other solutions must happen soon.

We are in need of concrete results that will pacify the markets. It is necessary to plan definitive legal proceedings.

Despite the urgent summit, as efficient it could be, it would not be able to flesh out the fine print. But it must go forward. The euro is at risk and the worst end would be its collapse.
