Indra, Grifols and Acerinox are the Spanish stocks trending down

These stocks keep falling, led by a multitude of doubts that are waiting to ambush equity. Investors with short positions keep taking hits in the Spanish stock market. On June 17 the Comision Nacional del Mercado de Valores (CNMV) published a report that indicated that in the last two weeks, down trending stocks have of 12 companies have risen. During this time, the bears have been lying in wait for Indra, Grifols and Acerinox.

These latest figures, which show that the bears shorting Spanish stocks, mark a new record (the information was first collected in June of last year). The short positions in the Ibex 35 just reached 2.388%.

This year the CNMV faced companies in which investors had established short positions, and many companies are still under attack. Indra is among them. This group will continue to be shorted by investors.

These positions have increased from 6.209% to 7.359%, the highest percentage since this kind of data has been collected. During the past two weeks, Grifols (a lab specializing in blood products) was able to scare away bears after purchasing Talecris.

But this can only last for a little while, considering that they control 1.085% of its capital.
