Protests in front of regional parliament and intimidating Madrid?s mayor at his home are some examples of how ideas within the 15-M movement have has veered very far from their original goals, most of which were well-intentioned and originated by obvious injustices.
Nevertheless, the ridiculousness of a few can compromise and discredit something that originally contained a great degree of reasonable ideas.
Nonconformity cannot be channeled in this way. It has to respect diversity, the will of the people and their electorate and institutions.
There are some channels where M-15 can direct its serious aspirations. The movement should avoid letting a select few destroy what so many have worked hard to create.
