NEW YORK (Reuters) - The Nasdaq <.IXIC> turned negative shortly after the open on Monday.
The PHLX semiconductor index <.SOX> was down 0.9 percent.
The Dow Jones industrial average <.DJI> was up 46.70 points, or 0.38 percent, at 12,426.75. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index <.SPX> was up 2.87 points, or 0.22 percent, at 1,331.04. The Nasdaq Composite Index was down 1.81 points, or 0.07 percent, at 2,778.61.
