NEW YORK (Reuters) - The Nasdaq composite closed at a record high on Friday on strong results from Google while weak energy stocks weighed on the Dow and S&P 500.
Based on the latest available data, the Dow Jones industrial average <.DJI> fell 33.8 points, or 0.19 percent, to 18,086.45, the S&P 500 <.SPX> gained 2.33 points, or 0.11 percent, to 2,126.62 and the Nasdaq Composite <.IXIC> added 46.96 points, or 0.91 percent, to 5,210.14.
The Nasdaq rose 4.3 percent for the week, its largest weekly percentage gains since October 2014.
