Wall St. closes off, oil hurt energy shares

(Reuters) - U.S. stocks fell on Friday and the S&P 500 registered a third week of losses as the dollar resumed its climb and lower oil prices hit energy shares.

At 4:01PM the Dow Jones industrial average <.DJI> fell 145.65 points, or 0.81 percent, to 17,749.57, the S&P 500 <.SPX> lost 12.56 points, or 0.61 percent, to 2,053.39 and the Nasdaq Composite <.
