Wall Street climbs after ISM, construction data

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Stocks added to gains, with the Dow and S&P 500 climbing more than 1 percent after data from the Institute of Supply Management showed the manufacturing sector grew for the first time since May.

The Dow Jones industrial average <.DJI> gained 139.50 points, or 1.04 percent, to 13,576.63. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index <.SPX> rose 15.11 points, or 1.05 percent, to 1,455.78. The Nasdaq Composite Index <.IXIC> added 27.87 points, or 0.89 percent, to 3,144.10.
