TSX turns up, buoyed by strong North American data

TORONTO (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index turned positive by mid-morning on Friday as constructive North American data helped to offset political uncertainty in Greece, negative surprises from China's economy and shock trading losses at JP Morgan.

The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index <.GSPTSE> was up 4.57 points to 11,740.74.
