Stock futures dip after jobless data

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Stock index futures edged lower Thursday after data showed new claims for unemployment benefits fell slightly last week but the four-week moving average rose to its highest since January.

S&P 500 futures fell 3.4 points and were below fair value, a formula that evaluates pricing by taking into account interest rates, dividends and time to expiration of the contract. Dow Jones industrial average futures lost 13 points and Nasdaq 100 futures shed 6.75 points.
