NEW YORK (Reuters) - Stocks rose on Tuesday, with the Nasdaq up 1 percent on a drop in borrowing costs for Spain, which helped eased concerns about the European debt crisis.
Some corporate results that topped expectations, including from Goldman Sachs Group Inc.
The Dow Jones industrial average <.DJI> was up 107.17 points, or 0.83 percent, at 13,028.58. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index <.SPX> was up 10.34 points, or 0.75 percent, at 1,379.91. The Nasdaq Composite Index <.IXIC> was up 30.31 points, or 1.01 percent, at 3,018.71.
