Wall Street ends down on fears about rally

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Stocks fell on Tuesday as investors questioned the sustainability of the rally in light of fresh worries about earnings growth.

Based on the latest available data, the Dow Jones industrial average <.DJI> fell 0.91 point, or 0.01 percent, to end unofficially at 12,806.45. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index <.SPX> was down 4.71 points, or 0.35 percent, at 1,356.51. The Nasdaq Composite Index <.IXIC> was down 22.46 points, or 0.78 percent, at 2,841.62.
