NEW YORK (Reuters) - Wall Street opened little changed on Tuesday as investors locked in profits after recent gains, but better-than-expected retail sales and a raised outlook from Best Buy limited declines.
The Dow Jones industrial average <.DJI> was down 6.36 points, or 0.06 percent, at 10,537.77. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index <.SPX> fell 1.16 points, or 0.10 percent, at 1,120.74. The Nasdaq Composite Index <.IXIC> dipped 2.06 points, or 0.09 percent, at 2,283.65.
Best Buy, the electronics retailer, was up 6.9 percent at $37.03.
