NEW YORK (Reuters) - Stocks opened lower on Tuesday pressured by fresh concerns about Europe's financial stability.
The Dow Jones industrial average <.DJI> was down 54.72 points, or 0.52 percent, at 10,393.21. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index <.SPX> was down 7.37 points, or 0.67 percent, at 1,097.14. The Nasdaq Composite Index <.IXIC> was down 10.56 points, or 0.47 percent, at 2,223.19.
