Wall St off 1 percent after Philly Fed data

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Stocks fell more than 1 percent on Thursday after data showed the Philadelphia Fed's business conditions index dropped to its lowest level since July 2009.

The Dow Jones industrial average <.DJI> lost 140.32 points, or 1.35 percent, to 10,275.22. The Standard & Poor's 500 <.SPX> fell 15.39 points, or 1.41 percent, to 1,078.77. The Nasdaq Composite <.IXIC> tumbled 27.37 points, or 1.24 percent, to 2,188.33.
