NEW YORK (Reuters) - Stock index futures dropped to session lows on Tuesday as quarterly earnings prompted caution, with companies expecting to see flat to weaker growth in the future.
S&P 500 futures fell 14.20 points and were below fair value, a formula that evaluates pricing by taking into account interest rates, dividends and time to expiration on the contract. Dow Jones industrial average futures were down 133 points, and Nasdaq 100 futures slipped 27.75 points.
