Mbeki says Zimbabwe crisis talks to resume Sunday

HARARE (Reuters) - South African President Thabo Mbeki reiterated on Wednesday that crisis talks between Zimbabwe's political rivals were going well and said negotiations would resume on Sunday.

"It is work in progress. The negotiators are working hardand have committed themselves to the time-frame. They willresume on Sunday," Mbeki told reporters after an hour-longmeeting with Zimbabwean ruler Robert Mugabe in Harare.

Mbeki has been mediating between Mugabe's ruling ZANU-PFand the opposition Movement for Democratic Change since lastyear.
