Poland prosecutor says no evidence of crime in Belka tape

WARSAW (Reuters) - Poland's chief prosecutor said on Monday that a recording of a conversation between central bank chief Marek Belka and Interior Minister Bartlomiej Sienkiewicz does not contain evidence either of the two men broke the law.

"As things stand today, the information revealed in that conversation does not provide grounds for a belief that either of these interlocutors committed a crime," Prosecutor-General Andrzej Seremet told a news conference.
